Superheroes are full of stereotypes that most people don’t even notice. Most people would view stereotyping in our everyday lives as a bad thing. Yet again, every superhero is stereotyped to be most appealing to us, the viewers. Superheroes are presented and viewed by us as a person we look to be a role model, someone we wish to be like.

When you think of a superhero one normally thinks of Spiderman, Batman, or Superman, but there were superheroes long before these characters were created. First one must understand that the basis of this name is hero. What is a hero? A hero is a person who does something special or out of the ordinary in order to help others.

For example, Spiderman is well known for the spider webs that emerge from his manly wrist. On the other hand, heroes are not just Though when most people think of superheroes they think of the type with super powers, the original idea of the ‘superman’ was developed by Friedrich Nietzsche in the 1800s.
